demande.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;offre provient des producteurs, elle est une fonction croissante du prix. Plus le prix est \u00e9lev\u00e9, plus les offreurs sont nombreux sur le march\u00e9 et plus ils offrent de produits (leur objectif est de r\u00e9aliser des profits)<\/p>\n<p>La demande provient des consommateurs, elle est une fonction d\u00e9croissante du prix (sauf pour certains biens particuliers qui permettent lorsqu&rsquo;on les poss\u00e8de de montrer sa richesse; il s&rsquo;agit alors d&rsquo;une consommation ostentatoire). Plus le prix est faible plus il y a de consommateurs sur le march\u00e9 et plus les consommateurs veulent des quantit\u00e9s de biens ou de services \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>La rencontre de l&rsquo;offre et de la demande d\u00e9termine un prix, qui est qualifi\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre lorsqu&rsquo;il satisfait les acteurs pr\u00e9sents sur le march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Si le prix est jug\u00e9 trop faible par les offreurs, ceux-ci se retirent du march\u00e9 ou diminuent la quantit\u00e9 offerte. d\u00e8s lors cela permet au prix d&rsquo;augmenter (puisque l&rsquo;offre est moindre).<\/p>\n<p>Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la demande, l&rsquo;effet est invers\u00e9. Si les prix sont jug\u00e9s comme \u00ab\u00a0faibles\u00a0\u00bb, des consommateurs rentrent sur le march\u00e9 et ceux qui y sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 peuvent augmenter la quantit\u00e9 qu&rsquo;ils demandent. Cet accroissement de la demande provoque une augmentation du prix.<\/p>\n<p>Ce m\u00e9canisme de hausse et de baisse de la demande et de l&rsquo;offre s&rsquo;appelle le\u00a0t\u00e2tonnement\u00a0Walrasien (Leon Walras \u00e9conomiste fran\u00e7ais 1834 &#8211; 1910). On va au fur et \u00e0 mesure s&rsquo;approcher du prix d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre. A ce niveau tous les acteurs sur le march\u00e9 sont satisfaits. Ceux qui ne le sont pas sont sortis du march\u00e9. C&rsquo;est pour cela que l&rsquo;on peut parler d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre. Ce m\u00e9canisme est valable sur l&rsquo;ensemble des march\u00e9s, y compris le march\u00e9 du travail.
